Terms of service
Effective November 1, 2026
These terms cover your use of the BackOps website and the BackOps service. By starting a trial or using the service you agree to them.
The service
BackOps helps dispensary staff log shift flower counts with a live photo, checks each count against the shift before it and your POS numbers, reads bag labels in the count photo, and alerts managers when something doesn't line up.
Free trial and pricing
- The free trial lasts 14 days for one store. No credit card is needed to start.
- After the trial, BackOps is $29 a month per store, billed monthly. You can cancel anytime; it stops at the end of the month you've paid for.
- The weekly digest add-on is free for the first 3 months, then $10 a month.
- If prices change, we'll tell you before the change applies to you.
Flags are an aid, not a guarantee
Flags, the label check and alerts help you spot problems. They can miss a problem or flag something that turns out fine, for example when a label is hard to read. They don't replace your own inventory process, audits or legal compliance, which stay your responsibility.
Your responsibilities
- Give access only to people who should have it, and keep sign-ins and the store PIN private.
- Make sure you're allowed to upload the data you put in, including photos and POS data.
- Don't misuse the service, try to break it, or use it for anything unlawful.
Your data
Your counts, photos and store data stay yours. We use them only to run the service for you, as described in the privacy policy.
As is, and limits
The service is provided as is. We work to keep it running and accurate, but we can't promise it will always be available or error-free. To the extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 3 months before the claim, and we aren't liable for indirect losses such as lost profits or inventory.
Ending the service
You can stop using BackOps at any time. We may suspend accounts that misuse the service. If we ever shut the service down, we'll give notice and a way to export your data.
Changes
We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top and let customers know about important changes.
