Flower counts, checked.
Staff log every flower count on their phone with a live photo. BackOps checks each count against the shift before it and alerts managers in Slack when something's off.
| Shift | Photo | Flag |
|---|---|---|
| Morning Open | ✓ Live photo | None |
| Morning Close | ✓ Live photo | Purple Punch 3.5 g · −2 vs last shift |
| Evening Open | ✓ Live photo | None |
| Evening Close | Waiting | Due |
Morning Close is 2 lower than Morning Open.
Log it. Check it. Flag it.
Four counts a day per store: morning open and close, evening open and close. Every strain row needs its own live photo, every count needs the store PIN, and every strain is checked against the shift before it.
Log.
Staff count every strain on their phone and take a live photo of each strain's row. The camera opens live, with no camera roll, and a count can't be saved without a photo for every row and the store PIN.
Check.
Each strain is compared with the shift before it. Managers also see the count next to the POS on-hand. A strain that doesn't line up is flagged on that strain and shift.
Alert.
Managers get a Slack alert within about 10 minutes when a shift's count is missed, strain rows are missing photos, or a strain is flagged.
Counts you can trust, without being there.
No more camera-roll fakes
The camera opens live, so every count photo is taken on the spot. Old photos, screenshots, and pictures from another phone can't be attached.
Know right away
A Slack alert goes out within about 10 minutes when a shift's count is missed or a strain is flagged, not at the end of the week.
Catch errors and missing product
Every strain is checked against the shift before it, so a miscount or missing product shows up the same day, on the exact strain and shift.
See every store from anywhere
Every count, every photo full size, and every flag in one place, so you know what happened on each shift without being in the store.
Wrong bags named on the spot
The software reads the strain name and weight on every bag label in each row photo and names a mismatch right away, like "2 bags are 1 g, not 3.5 g". Covered labels, dark or blurry photos prompt a retake.
Less time redoing counts
Staff check each row photo full size and retake it before they submit. When something is flagged, it points to one strain, so a recount can start there.
How a count works, start to finish
The six steps, the strain-list form, a short demo video, and what managers see.

A simple count form
- Their store and shift. The next count due is marked "Up next."
- A live photo for every strain row. Camera only, with tap-to-view and retake before submitting.
- A count box for every strain on the day's list.
- The store PIN to submit the count.
- A label check right after the photo. If a bag's label doesn't match the row, they see what's off and can retake.
- Never the expected numbers or the shift-to-shift flags.
Every count, checked
- The manager view with every store side by side.
- Every count and its row photos, full size.
- Flags when a strain doesn't match the shift before it, plus the POS comparison.
- Label flags naming any bag whose strain or weight doesn't match its row.
- Missed shifts and missing row photos.
- Slack alerts within about 10 minutes, and a daily summary.
